Why Valparaiso?

Growing Metro Area displays Potential
The Valparaiso metro area is on the rise. From 1990 to 2000, the population has risen 12.3% and from 200 to 2007 has continued to take positive movements not only in population but significant growth in the retail sector with over two million square feet developed. The medium median income during the same period has risen over 45% and education rising to over 35% of all residents holding a bachelors degree or higher and 63% of all job holders are “white collar workers”. These figures, along with Valparaiso’s close proximity to Chicago and South Bend and strategically located to other major metro areas, display a strong potential for growth in the area of professional services. With the addition of the Memorial and Porter Hospital campuses being located strategically close to this new development building project has endless potential.
